Lottery Commission Votes to Extend Deadline in Southeast Zone
If No Applications Received by October 19 Deadline

TOPEKA, KAN. – The Kansas Lottery Commission has voted to extend the deadline for the filing of Lottery Gaming Facility manager applications in the Southeast Gaming Zone, if no applications are received by the current deadline of October 19, 2009. Thus far, the Lottery has received no applications for the Southeast Gaming Zone. If no applications are received by October 19, the deadline will automatically be extended to January 15, 2010, at 2 p.m. Additionally, if no applications are received by January 15, the Commission voted to automatically extend the deadline to April 16, 2010, at 2 p.m.

The Kansas Lottery Commission met today via teleconference at Lottery headquarters in Topeka. The next meeting of the commission will be held in person and is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. Thursday, November 19, 2009.
