Lottery Commission Approves Revised Application and Review Procedures for Southeast Zone

TOPEKA, KAN. – At a special meeting today in Topeka, the Kansas Lottery Commission approved the Revised Application and Review Procedures for Lottery Gaming Facility management contracts in the Southeast Gaming Zone. The action allows for the re-opening of bids in the Southeast Zone.

The deadline for applications will be 90 days following the publication of the Revised Application and Review Procedures in the Kansas Register. Publication is currently scheduled for October 23, 2008, which would make January 21, 2009 the deadline for applications to be received.

The Revised Application and Review Procedures document is posted on the Kansas Lottery website, along with the Revised Application for Lottery Gaming Facility Manager.

The next regular meeting of the Kansas Lottery Commission is a teleconference meeting scheduled for Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 11:15 a.m. in the Lottery headquarters building at 128 North Kansas Avenue in Topeka, Kansas.
