“Lotto Man” Finally Wins Big Playing Betty Boop Instant Scratch Ticket

TOPEKA, KAN. – Timothy Hudson enjoys playing Kansas Lottery games so much he’s known as “Lotto Man” at the convenience stores he frequents. According to the Topeka resident, many friends have said he’s wasting his time and money because he’ll never win anything big. Today he’s able to prove them wrong. Hudson, who purchased a $2 Betty Boop instant scratch ticket on Saturday, won a $10,000 top prize playing the game!

“Now I can tell all the nay-sayers I finally won big,” laughed Hudson.

Hudson’s favorite game to play is Pick 3, but he’s definitely had good luck playing instant scratch games.

“This has been a good year,” said Hudson. “I won $1,000 playing a different $2 game this spring. Now that I’ve won $10,000, I think I’ll have Thanksgiving dinner in Las Vegas.”

Hudson, who is single, is a printer at Jostens in Topeka. After his trip to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving, he plans to save the rest of his prize money.

The winning ticket was purchased at 29th Street Quick Stop, located at 3101 SW 29th St. in Topeka.
