Winfield Man Says “Wow!” to Unexpected $20,000 Win

“Wow!” That was how Marty Moore, 46, of Winfield reacted at Lottery headquarters this week when he received unexpected good news. “My wife and I waited until she could get off work to come to Topeka to claim the $2,000 prize I thought I had won on a Bonus Crossword ticket,” Moore explained. “After checking the ticket, the Lottery said I was wrong. They told me I hadn’t won $2,000 – instead, I’d won $20,000!”

Valley Center Resident Has Winning Wednesday

Last Wednesday after finishing his shift at work, Brandon Ivey stopped at a local liquor store to cash in a $1 Fabulous 50s instant scratch ticket on which he won $50. Later that evening, the Valley Center resident went back to the store and purchased two $10 Joker’s Wild instant scratch tickets, plus a $1 each of Powerball, Super Kansas Cash, and 2by2 tickets.
