The $1 million winning ticket from the Saturday, October 7 Powerball drawing has officially been claimed. The ticket matched all five numbers, but not the Powerball, to win. The winning numbers were white balls 47, 54, 57, 60, 65 and red Powerball 19.
The winner, who chose to remain anonymous, purchased the ticket at QuikTrip 271 located at 9100 West 135th Street in Overland Park. For selling the winning ticket, the retailer is eligible for a selling bonus as well!
The next Powerball drawing will be on Wednesday, October 11 for an estimated $1.725 billion, with a cash option of $756,600,000. This is the 2nd largest Powerball jackpot and the 2nd largest US Lottery jackpot of all time.
