Recent Winners!

Gary Charbonneau of Wichita has always been a big fan of the Kansas Lottery’s Keno game. In fact, he has a tradition where he would get together with a friend for coffee and Keno. His playing tradition paid off with a $36,465 Keno win on an 8-Spot ticket! The winning numbers were: 01 – 13 – 16 – 19 – 47 – 59 – 62 – 78. 

“I’ve won before but never anything like this,” Charbonneau said with a laugh. “I still can barely believe it!” 

Charbonneau said he bought the ticket on a Wednesday, but did not get around to checking all of his tickets until the weekend. It was then that he realized he had a ticket that had won something significant. 

“I took the ticket to the store, and the clerk scanned it and handed back to me,” Charbonneau added. “They said I would have to call the Lottery offices in Topeka because I won too much to cash out at their store.” 

When asked what they planned to do with their winnings, the Charbonneau’s said they aren’t exactly sure at the moment. “We did just buy a car recently that we could pay down. We could then refinance to lower our payments. And of course we have to take care of our dogs as well! Punkie and Missy will definitely be spoiled.” 

The winning ticket was sold at QuikTrip 320 at 1021 West 31^st South in Wichita. Keno is an online Kansas Lottery game that is available to play at every Kansas Lottery retailer!
