$875 Million Powerball Jackpot Seventh Largest in Game History
Powerball continued to roll this weekend, with no ticket hitting the top prize in Saturday’s drawing. The jackpot has now climbed to a staggering $875 Million, with a cash option of $403.6 million.
Monday’s estimated jackpot ranks as the seventh largest in Powerball history and the game’s second-biggest prize this year, behind only the $1.787 billion jackpot won on Sept. 6 in Missouri and Texas. Tonight will mark the 40th drawing in this jackpot run.
Powerball tickets start at just $2, with the option to add the Power Play Multiplier and/or add Double Play to your ticket for an additional $1 each. Powerplay can multiply a non-jackpot win by up to 10X. Cutoff for entry is 8:59 p.m. on draw days.
Kansas Powerball tickets now have a option for an additional draw. The Double Play is a new Powerball feature that only 27 states currently offer that gives players another chance to match their Powerball numbers in a separate drawing with a top cash prize of $10 million.
Players are invited to submit all their winning and non-winning tickets in the Kansas Lottery PlayOn® Players Loyalty program to earn points for drawing entries and a chance to win cash and other prizes! PlayOn® is a registered trademark of Pollard Banknote Limited used under license.
