• 12 horses per race, with each race lasting up to one minute.
• Races beginning every five minutes.
• A Bonus Wheel that spins before each race giving players a chance to multiply their winnings.

• Winning numbers that are randomly generated and displayed on TV monitors.

Playing Racetrax^®

Completing a Racetrax^® play slip is easy. Just use a pencil or blue or black ink, and make heavy marks in the boxes for the options you want to play.

Play every 4 ½ minutes from 4:00 AM to 2:50 AM every day.

Step 1 – Select a Bet Type:

Use Section 1 of your play slip to mark which bet type you wish to play. There are 12 horses in every race. Select only one bet type and the horse(s) of your choice, or mark the "Quick Pick" [QP] box.
Quick Pick is not available for Wheel bets.

WIN: Select at least one horse to finish in 1st place (Minimum bet per ticket = $1)

SHOW: Select at least one horse to finish in 1st, 2nd or 3rd place. (Minimum bet per ticket = $1)

WIN/SHOW: A WIN/SHOW is a combined WIN and SHOW bet on one ticket. One horse equals two bets. (Minimum bet per ticket = $2)

• If your horse finishes 1st, you win the WIN and the SHOW prizes.
• If your horse finishes 2nd or 3rd, you win the SHOW prize only.

EXACTA: Select two horses that will finish in 1st & 2nd place in EXACT order. (Minimum bet amount = $1)

EXACTA BOX: Select at least two horses to finish in 1st & 2nd place in ANY order. The number of wagers in an Exacta Box for one race is equal to the number of all possible combinations based on the total number of horses selected. Two horses equal two bets. (Base bet amount = $1, Minimum bet amount = $2)

EXACTA WHEEL: Select three or more horses (at least one in each box) to finish 1st & 2nd in EXACT order. Quick Pick (QP) is not available for the Exacta Wheel bet type. If more than three horses are selected, the cost for one race will be determined by the total number of all possible combinations. (Base bet amount = $1, Minimum bet per ticket = $2)

QUINELLA: Select two or more horses to finish in 1st and 2nd place in ANY order. (Minimum bet per ticket =$1)

TRIFECTA: Select three horses that will finish in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in EXACT order. (Minimum bet per ticket = $1)

TRIFECTA BOX: Select at least three horses that will finish in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in ANY order. The number of wagers in a Trifecta Box for one race is equal to the number of all possible combinations based on the total number of horses selected. Three horses equal six (6) bets. (Base bet amount = $.50, Minimum bet per ticket = $3)

TRIFECTA WHEEL: Select four or more horses (at least one in each box) to finish in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in EXACT order. Quick Pick (QP) is not available for Trifecta Wheel bet type. If more than four horses are selected, the total number of all possible combinations will determine the cost for one race. (Minimum bet per ticket = $2)

SUPERFECTA: Select four horses that will place 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th in EXACT order. (Minimum bet per ticket = $1)

SUPERFECTA BOX: Select at least four horses to place 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th in ANY order. The number of wagers in a Superfecta Box for one race is equal to the number of all possible combinations based on the total number of horses selected. Four horses equals 24 bets. (Base bet amount =$.10, Minimum bet per ticket = $2.40)

SUPERFECTA WHEEL: Select at least five horses to finish 1st, 2nd, 3rd & 4th in EXACT order. Quick Pick (QP) is not available for the Superfecta Wheel bet type. If more than five horses are selected, the cost for one race will be determined by the total number of all possible combinations. (Base bet amount = $.10, Minimum bet per ticket = $1)

WIN, SHOW, QUINELLA, EXACTA & TRIFECTA bet types: Maximum prize liability is $1,000,000 per race. The maximum prize liability when there are bonus winners is $1,575,000.
There is a $315,000 maximum prize per race on any one Racetrax^® ticket when Racetrax^® Bonus is not selected, or when Racetrax^® Bonus is selected and "No Bonus" occurs on the Bonus Wheel. The maximum prize per race on any one Racetrax^® ticket when Racetrax^® Bonus is selected and a bonus is won is $1,575,000. When maximum liability per race per bet type exceeds these stated levels, the prizes shall be calculated on a pari-mutuel basis.
SUPERFECTA bet type: The maximum prize liability is $650,248 per race. The maximum prize liability when there are bonus winners is $1,950,744.
The maximum prize per race on any one ticket without Racetrax^® Bonus is $650,248 and $1,950,744 with Racetrax^® Bonus. When maximum liability per race per bet type exceeds these stated levels, the prizes shall be calculated on a pari-mutuel basis.

Step 2 – Select your Horse(s):

Use Section 2 of your play slip to select your horses OR mark the Quick Pick (QP) box if you want your horses selected for you. Quick Pick is NOT available for the Trifecta and Superfecta Wheel bets.

• WIN, SHOW, WIN/SHOW: Select at least one horse in the 1st box.
• EXACTA: Select two individual horses, one in each of the 1st and 2nd boxes.
• EXACTA BOX: Select at least two horses in the 1st box.
• EXACTA WHEEL: Select three or more horses, at least one in each of the 1st and 2nd boxes.
• QUINELLA: Select at least two horses, at least one in each of the 1st and 2nd boxes.
• TRIFECTA: Select three different individual horses, one in each of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd boxes.
• TRIFECTA BOX: Select at least three horses in the 1st box.
• TRIFECTA WHEEL: Select four or more horses, at least one in each of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd boxes.
• SUPERFECTA: Select four different individual horses, one in each of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th boxes.
• SUPERFECTA BOX: Select at least four horses in the 1st box.
• SUPERFECTA WHEEL: Select five or more horses, at least one in each of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th boxes.

Step 3 – Select your Bet Amount:

Use Section 3 of your play slip to select the amount you wish to bet per Race ($.10, $.50, $1, $2, $3, $4, $5, $10 or $20). Examples are based on the minimum ticket cost for one race. The total cost of your ticket will equal:

WIN or SHOW = [Bet Amount] X [Number of Races] X [Number of Horses Selected]

WIN/SHOW = [Bet Amount] X [Number of Races] X [Number of Horses Selected] X [2]

EXACTA = [Bet Amount] X [Number of Races] X [Number of Horses Selected]

(Two is the number of bets in an Exacta Box if only two horses are selected. If more than two horses are selected, the cost will increase by $1 for each additional possible combination. For example, if three horses are selected, there are six possible combinations for a cost of $6.)

EXACTA WHEEL = [Bet Amount] X [Number of Races] X [Number of Possible Bet Combinations]
(For example, if the number one horse is selected in Box 1, and the two and four horses in Box 2, there are two possible combinations, 1-2 and 1-4. The cost based on a $1 bet, would be $2.)

QUINELLA = [Bet Amount] X [Number of Races]
(If more than two horses are selected, each additional horse will increase the cost by $1 for each set of possible Quinella finishes. For example, if the 1 and 2 horses are selected, the set would be 1-2, 2-1, and the minimum cost would be $1. If horses 1, 2 and 3 are selected, the set would be 1-2, 2-1; 1-3, 3-1; 2-3, 3-2, so the minimum cost would be $3, $1 for each for the three sets.)

TRIFECTA = [Bet Amount] X [Number of Races]

TRIFECTA BOX = [Bet Amount] X [Number of Races] X [Number of Possible Bet Combinations]
(Six is the number of bets in a Trifecta Box if only three horses are selected. If more than three horses are selected, the cost will increase by $.50 for each additional possible combination. For example, if four horses are selected, there are 24 possible combinations for a cost of $12.)

TRIFECTA WHEEL = [Bet Amount] X [Number of Races] X [Number of Possible Bet Combinations]
(For example, if the number one and number two horses are selected in Box 1, the number three horse in Box 2 and the number four horse in Box 3, there are two possible combinations, 1-3-4 and 2-3-4. The cost, based on a $.50 bet, would be $1.)

SUPERFECTA = [Bet Amount] X [Number of Races]

SUPERFECTA BOX = [Bet Amount] X [Number of Races] X [Number of Possible Bet Combinations]
(Base bet amount is $.10. There are 24 bets in a Superfecta Box if only four horses are selected. If more than four horses are selected, the cost will increase by $.10 for each additional possible combination. For example, if five horses are selected, there are 120 possible combinations for a cost of $12.)

SUPERFECTA WHEEL = [Bet Amount] X [Number of Races] x [Number of Possible Bet Combinations].
(For example, if the number one horse is selected in Box 1, the number two horse is selected in Box 2, the number three horse is selected in Box 3 and the number four and five horses are selected in Box 4, there are two possible combinations 1-2-3-4 and 1-2-3-5. The cost on a $0.50 bet would be $1. The base bet for this bet type is $0.10 – the minimum required wager is $1.)

Step 4 – Select Number of Races:

In Section 4, select the number of consecutive races you wish to play (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10 or 20.)

Step 5 – Do you want to play Racetrax^® Bonus?

If you would like to play Racetrax^® Bonus, select "Yes" on your play slip for the Racetrax^® Bonus option and have the chance to multiply your winnings on every race. You must play Racetrax^® if you want to play Racetrax^® Bonus. Selecting "Yes" will double the cost of your ticket. If you do not wish to play Racetrax^® Bonus, then select "No."

*The maximum wager per ticket for Racetrax^® when Racetrax^® Bonus is not played is $120 per ticket.
*The maximum wager per ticket for Racetrax^® when Racetrax^® Bonus is played is $240 per ticket.

How to play Racetrax^® Bonus

Racetrax^® Bonus is a feature of Racetrax^® that gives you a chance to increase your Racetrax^® winnings by up to 10 times the original amount. Simply mark the "Yes" box for Racetrax^® Bonus on your Racetrax^® play slip.

Determining your Racetrax^® Bonus wager is easy. It is the same amount that you wagered on Racetrax^®. For instance, if you wager $2 on Racetrax^®, then your Racetrax^® Bonus wager is an additional $2, for a total ticket cost of $4.

Racetrax^® Bonus draws first, with a wheel that spins and stops to reveal which multiplier, if any, applies to the next Racetrax^® race. Possible multipliers are as follows: No Bonus, 3X, 4X, 5X, and 10X. It is also possible there will be no multiplier for the race. Then the race takes place. If your ticket is a winner for the Racetrax^® race, and you also played Racetrax^® Bonus, then multiply the amount you won by the Racetrax^® Bonus multiplier, if any. The result is how much money you will actually collect. For example, if you win $7 on Racetrax^®, and the multiplier for that race is 3, then you collect $21. If the multiplier is 4, you collect $28, and so on.

With Racetrax^® Bonus, you can win up to $1,575,000 for WIN, WIN/SHOW, SHOW, QUINELLA, EXACTA, and TRIFECTA bets, or $1,950,744 for a SUPERFECTA bet on Racetrax^® when the Racetrax^® Bonus option is selected and a specific multiplier occurs!

*For the Show, Win/Show, Quinella, Trifecta (includes Trifecta, Trifecta Box and Trifecta Wheel), Exacta (includes Exacta, Exacta Box and Exacta Wheel), and Superfecta (includes Superfecta, Superfecta Box and Superfecta Wheel), the probability and prize payout are derived from each horse’s probability of placing 1st.
