The jackpot for the Monday, October 2, 2023 Powerball drawing is for an estimated $1.04 billion, with a cash option of $478.2 million. This is the 4th highest Powerball jackpot of all time, and the 9th largest US Lottery jackpot of all time!
There have already been some big winners in the Sunflower State during this Powerball jackpot run, including a $1 million winner last week in South Central Kansas. The Powerball jackpot was last hit in Kansas in November of 2022 for $92 million!
Powerball plays every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, with jackpots starting at $20 million. Tickets are $2 per play, with the option of adding the Power Play multiplier for an additional $1 per draw.
