$1 Million Powerball Ticket Sold in Kansas!

The sun is shining extra bright on one lucky player in the Sunflower State this morning, as one Powerball ticket sold in Kansas matched all five numbers but not the Powerball to win $1 million! The winning numbers in the Wednesday, January 12 Powerball drawing were 12 – 21 – 22 – 30 – 33 Powerball 24. 

The winning ticket was sold in the Northeast region of Kansas, which includes the following counties:  Marshall, Nemaha, Brown, Doniphan, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Atchison, Geary, Wabaunsee, Shawnee, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Johnson, Osage, Douglas, Franklin, Miami, Morris, and the northern half of Lyon. 

This is already the second millionaire for the Kansas Lottery in 2022, as just last week, the grand prize winning number in the Holiday Millionaire Raffle was announced! You can read more and see the winning numbers here
