The Powerball jackpot was not hit earlier this week, and has now climbed to an estimated $1.2 BILLION for the Wednesday, October 4 drawing, with a cash option of $551,700,000.
This is the 3rd highest Powerball jackpot and the 7th largest US lottery jackpot of all time. This Powerball run has seen several winners in Kansas, including a $1 million winner from South Central Kansas last week!
Powerball plays every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, with jackpots starting at $20 million. Tickets are $2 per play, with the option of adding the Power Play multiplier for an additional $1 per draw.
