Mondays are not typically the most thrilling day of the week, but when both the Powerball and Mega Millions jackpots are rolling it is hard not excited about a chance to win big! This week marks the first time that both Powerball and Mega Millions have been over $800 million at the same time. 

Powerball draws tonight, with an estimated jackpot of $800 million and a cash option of $384.8 million. This is the 6^th largest jackpot in Powerball history! This is the 36^th drawing of the current jackpot run, which began on New Year’s Day after a ticket in Michigan won an $842 million jackpot. The next Powerball drawing is tonight, Monday March 25, 2024. 

The excitement will continue on into Tuesday night, with the current Mega Millions estimated jackpot at $1.1 BILLION, with a cash option of $525.8 million. This is the 5^th largest Mega Millions jackpot of all time, and the 9^th largest US Lottery Jackpot of all time! The Mega Millions jackpot was last hit in California in December of 2023. The next Mega Millions drawing is tomorrow night, March 26, 2024. 

While the jackpot has not been hit, there have been some big winners in both games during these current runs. In Powerball, there was a $50,000 winner in Northeast Kansas on March 23, along with a $12,000 and a $14,000 winner in Mega Millions last week as well!
