It’s going to be a wild weekend in the Sunflower State for Kansas Lottery players! The Powerball jackpot was raised to an estimated $1.6 BILLION for Saturday night’s drawing, with a cash option of $782.4 million. This marks a new record-breaking jackpot for Powerball, making it the largest jackpot ever in US Lottery history!
Saturday will mark 40 consecutive drawings without a jackpot winner, the second longest streak in the game’s history. If the jackpot isn’t hit on Saturday, it will tie the previous record of 41 consecutive draws without a winner set in 2021.
Kansas has seen some big winners during this Powerball run, including a $100,000 winner and two $50,000 winners in Wednesday night’s drawing! Powerball tickets start at just $2, and players can add the Power Play Multiplier to their ticket for an extra $1 per play.
Powerball isn’t the only game Kansans are excited about this weekend! The Holiday Millionaire Raffle is in full swing, and is at a record sales pace as well! Currently, less than 40,000 tickets remain in the game, meaning over 110,000 tickets have already been sold!
This Sunday, November 6 will be the second of three $30,000 Early Bird drawings in the Raffle. One remaining Early Bird drawing will be held on December 4. The Grand Finale announcement will occur on January 4, with the $1-million-dollar winning number announced, as well as hundreds of thousands of dollars in other prizes as well!
Holiday Millionaire Raffle tickets are $20 and are available at every Kansas Lottery retailer. Only 150,000 tickets are available, and one ticket sold is guaranteed to win $1 million!
Players are invited to submit all their winning and non-winning tickets in the Kansas Lottery PlayOn® Players Loyalty program to earn points for drawing entries and a chance to win cash and other prizes! PlayOn® is a registered trademark of Pollard Banknote Limited used under license.
