The Powerball jackpot was not hit in last night’s drawing as the grand prize amount rolled up to an estimated $335 million, with Mega Millions following close behind at an estimated $312 million jackpot.
While the jackpots may not have been hit in Kansas, players across the Sunflower State have hit some big prizes! In the June 22 Powerball drawing, there were two $50,000 Powerball tickets, both sold in Northeast Kansas, that matched four numbers and the Powerball to win. The winning numbers in the June 22 Powerball drawing were 6 – 10 – 31 – 48 – 56 Powerball 12.
Northeast Kansas includes the following counties: Marshall, Nemaha, Brown, Doniphan, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Atchison, Geary, Wabaunsee, Shawnee, Jefferson, Leavenworth, Wyandotte, Johnson, Osage, Douglas, Franklin, Miami, Morris, and the northern half of Lyon.
That wasn’t the only significant win in last night’s drawings! One Lucky for Life ticket sold in South Central Kansas matched four numbers and the Lucky Ball to win $5,000! The winning numbers in the June 22 Lucky for Life drawing were 20 – 24 – 31 – 34 – 47 Lucky Ball 4.
South Central Kansas includes the following counties: Barton, Rice, McPherson, Marion, Stafford, Reno, Harvey, Pratt, Kingman, Sedgwick, Butler, Barber, Harper, Sumner, and Cowley.
Finally, there were three Super Kansas Cash tickets that matched all five numbers, but not the Cash Ball, to win $2,000. Two of those tickets were sold in South Central Kansas, and one ticket was sold in Northeast Kansas.
The fun continues tonight, with another Lucky for Life drawing offering a top prize of $1,000 A Day for Life! Tickets start at just $2 and are available at every Kansas Lottery retailer.
