Just because your ticket did not hit the jackpot does not mean your ticket isn’t a winner! The Kansas Lottery is reminding everyone to make sure to check your tickets after each drawing, because you never know what other prizes a ticket can win!
For example, a single Powerball ticket sold in South Central Kansas in the September 27, 2023 drawing matched all five numbers, but not the Powerball, to win $1 million! That ticket remains unclaimed, and the prize will expire one year from the date of the drawing on September 27, 2024.
Additionally, a $22,000 2by2 top prize winning ticket will expire on July 22, 2024. The winning ticket was also sold in South Central Kansas. There are multiple 2by2 top prizes remaining to be claimed, as well as four $50,000 Powerball prizes, and dozens of other prizes for multiple games across all six regions of the state.
